The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, applies to all workplaces regardless of the number of employees and requires employers to provide adequate training in fire awareness for all members of their staff. This course includes what should be done in the event of a fire, how to prevent a fire occurring and a basic introduction of the protocol of extinguishing a fire.
This course is aimed at all employees to assist them in identifying and reducing the risk that fire presents in the workplace.
This course will provide candidates with a general understanding of basic fire awareness and is a cost-effective way for employers to fulfil their legal obligation to provide their employees with the necessary understanding of fire awareness. Online training is flexible, efficient and cost-effective, so candidates can progress through the modules at their own pace, in their own time, making it easy to fit the training around their work and personal life.
Course Cost: £20 per licence
Our Workplace Health and Safety and Working Safely courses are great induction courses in relation to health and safety as they cover a wide range of topics in more detail and have been designed to complement this course. We recommend completing the Fire Marshal and Fire Extinguisher course to provide a greater knowledge and confidence to support this Basic Fire Safety Awareness course.
