The level 6 Site Management Degree Apprenticeship has been developed to ensure that a construction project is completed safely, within an agreed timeframe and budget. This Apprenticeship uses blended learning and provides the apprentice with the knowledge to understand the environmental impact of construction, the Project Management Cycle, understanding obligations for Health, Safety and Welfare issues on site and to demonstrate common defects in buildings and understand the quality required. The Apprentice will gain the skill to plan and organise work by planning activities and reviewing objectives, manage quality by identifying standards required by clients and other stakeholders, implement sustainable construction, be able to manage legal and contractual matters relating to the site and work and be able to investigate problems causes and effects determine solutions.

Course Duration: 36 months (part time)
What is involved: Individual employers will set their own selection criteria for this Apprenticeship. The typical entry requirements for this Apprenticeship will be the completion of the Level 4 Construction Technician Standard; Technician status or the equivalent with the industry’s recognised professional bodies; HNC in Construction or equivalent qualifications and commensurate industry experience. The delivery of the Apprenticeship will depend on the employer’s requirements and preference. Both you and your employer will be supported and guided throughout the apprenticeship and both will have access to a comprehensive range of resources, with regular feedback on progress and development via e-portfolio, Structured progress reviews all completed by an Industry specialist qualified trainers and assessors
