Level 2 Award in Complying with Social Distancing


Course Description
This course aims to support employers in maintaining social distancing requirements at work. As every business is different, not all the social distancing measures will apply to every company and each business will need their own policy to protect and support their employees. This course includes how germs are spread, examples of the current Government guidelines, hand washing information, what sanitising facilities should be provided, cleaning of the workplace, staffing hours – start times and breaks , non-compliance process, Covid-19 symptoms and contact tracing.

What is involved
This training involves a PowerPoint presentation and an assessment workbook. The candidates are expect to complete the workbook containing 18 questions and write about their organisation’s responsibility for complying with social distancing within the workplace, what organisational controls they have in place for complying with social distancing and their process for reporting instances of suspected or actual infections. This is supported by our appropriately qualified and occupationally competent assessors who are on hand to assist the candidates.

Target Audience
This course is aimed at those who are actively involved in workplace activities to comply with and maintain social distancing in their workplace. Unlike other online training courses this training is based on the candidate’s organisation and the assessment workbook is assessed on the current government guidelines and the policies and processes that the candidate’s organisation currently has in place.
